Cement Brushstroke Cake

This 4 layer piece of art comes with a fluffy vanilla cake accompanied by a decadent almond buttercream filling. It is iced in a final coat of Swiss buttercream. This cake gets its concrete look by the reaction of a very lightly tinted grey Swiss buttercream and temperature and agitation. Once it is almost frozen layers of the Swiss buttercream are scraped off very gradually. The agitation of the frozen buttercream cause it to darken in color in places, thus causing the cement affect.
